I am really interested to have an african drumming workshop for a couple of hours (approx) at our team base. We are a NHS community mental health team, based in Rotherhithe, at the Chaucer Resource Centre. I have successfully applied for funding for World Mental Health Awareness day, and will be facilitating an event at the Chaucer centre on the 15th Oct to promote wellbeing for all. I like the idea of drumming, as a means of learning, being creative, connecting and the therapeutic benefits (also links in with Black History Month- but unfortunately I could not apply for funding for both events!)…and really think the clients of our service and their carers will enjoy it. As I am limited with funds available I am trying to get the best deal that I can for this workshop and really hope that LAD can offer this.

My work mobile is 07580262053. Please call me if you would like. I will try to contact you by phone asap too.

    Thank you,
    Community Mental Health Nurse
